For this release, legendary SWANS member Jarboe tears apart one of her tracks and Telecognac puts it back together in new and twisted forms. 3 versions/manipulations cover ground between possessed free jazz, dark ambient drones, and a finale of extremely textured electronic improvisation where the mixing equipment was actually approached like a dj would a turntable. Additional recording by Telecognac (Jon Mueller and Chris Rosenau) push the already tense material over the edge. Mueller’s spastic drum approach combined with Rosenau’s studio wizardry creates the feeling of being thrown down a flight of stairs, only to climb back to the top to be thrown again. Very exciting new elements in the remix genre and a step in new directions for each artist. Limited to a numbered edition of 500.
